Join us at Summercrest for a presentation by Newport Police Chief Alex Lee on internet scams and identity theft.
- Wednesday, 10/11, at 2pm
He’ll talk about the most common types of fraud: including e-mail phishing scams, romance scams, check and gift card scams, and arrest warrant/bail/car accident scams. He’ll also cover how to determine if a request is legitimate, and what to do if you have fallen victim to a scam.
